About Tinui Honey
Tinui Honey is located in the Wairarapa region of New Zealand, on the east coast of the North Island. Tinui is a small village east of Masterton and roughly a two hour drive from New Zealand's capital city Wellington.
What started off as a hobby in 2007 by Garry and his partner Val, Tinui Honey is now a fully commercial beekeeping enterprise with hundreds of hives dotted around the unspoiled pristine region of Tinui. We're not the largest beekeeping operation in New Zealand, and have no ambition to be, so we concentrate and pride ourselves on producing a range of honeys. To achieve this, we have a few simple rules: 1. Respect the community and the land owners that allow us to keep hives on their properties 2. Ensure the bees AND their health and well-being come first 3. Look after the customers that buy our product We believe if we follow these very simple rules, and ensure we apply best practice and quality controls to our operation, we will continue to produce and harvest an outstanding product for our customers to enjoy. We hope you agree, why not give it a try and let us know.
