We process the honey in our very own purpose built extraction facility to ensure we get the purest product outcome. No overheating or forced filtration is used meaning we keep the natural flavours and goodness intact. Our facility is audited annually by the NZ government to ensure we meet the necessary food grade quality assurances, and all our honey is independently tested. Manuka HoneyThere are a number of characteristics that identify manuka honey as authentic such as its taste, aroma, colour, conductivity and the presence of certain chemical markers. One of these markers is methylglyoxal, or MGO for short. A MGO content of minimum 83 is what you may have been used to seeing as '5+' on retail labeling. Our manuka honey has a MGO content of 100+. The Manuka Blend has the same characteristics and whilst some MGO is present, it's generally below MGO 100 therefore we don't grade it.
